Testimonials

Community Choirs have been made popular this century by people like choirmaster Gareth Malone who has shown that belonging to one means being part of something special. There is solidarity and shared endeavour in a Community Choir. This means we are never alone when expressing a deep creative side of ourselves……..

“Thank you for the wonderful experience of singing in the choir and the fellowship of my fellow singers. Truly uplifting, enriching,
inspirational and life affirming.” Derek

Over time confidence grows and so does the ability to be in tune with life……..

“The choir is such fun. I really enjoy myself and love each session more and more as the weeks go by. The atmosphere is lovely and I always go home up-lifted.” Jean

For some the idea of singing in front of an audience is daunting but performing is not compulsory. You are free to opt out and still
remain singing…….

“Thank you for enabling me to take part in such a tremendous event. It is something I would not have contemplated at the beginning, but it is something I would not have missed.” Barry

Concerts can be magical. A kind of alchemy happened when the Three Choirs had their dress rehearsal. After singing separately
for 12-weeks, the coming together was beautiful. We were moved to tears. Mostly our audiences are friends and family who come to
support their loved ones…….

“I can’t believe it! I’ve never sung before or been in a concert and so didn’t know what to expect. I have to say it is one of the
highlights of a difficult year and I plan to be singing for a while yet.” Fiona M.
